Birth to Five Therapy is a specialized service that provides emotional and behavioral support through working directly with the child and their parents/primary caregivers. Birth to Five therapy emphasizes the importance of the parent-child relationship, because young children rely on their primary caregivers to model emotional mindfulness, as well as provide co-regulation and safety. When children have their emotional and relational needs met, they are able to securely explore, grow, and learn!
Birth to Five therapy sessions generally consist of a combination of child, child-parent, and parent-only sessions. Sessions involving the child utilize play-based interventions to encourage developmentally-appropriate emotional and somatic mindfulness while also supporting the parent-child relationship.
Sessions with the caregivers include providing supportive psychoeducation and skill-building for developing confidence in managing challenging behaviors and/or developmental concerns while further promoting connection and attunement across all environments (home, community, daycare/school).
Family therapy aims to improve communication and resolve conflicts within the family unit. Family therapy can be a sibling dyad intervention and or parent child. Our therapists work with all family members to understand and address the underlying issues that may be causing tension or discord. By fostering a supportive and cooperative atmosphere, we help families build stronger, healthier relationships.
Group therapy offers opportunities to connect with others who are facing similar challenges. Under the guidance of a trained therapist, skills are taught and experiences are shared to provide support.

Our Neurosequential Assessment services help identify the root causes of emotional and behavioral issues through a brain-based approach. By evaluating developmental history and current functioning, we gather crucial information that informs your treatment plan. This comprehensive assessment is the first step in developing a targeted and effective therapeutic approach.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an innovative therapy designed to reduce stress and enhance social engagement by improving auditory processing. This non-invasive treatment involves listening to specially filtered music and can be particularly effective for individuals with anxiety, PTSD, autism, and other conditions. Our trained SSP providers guide you through the process to ensure maximum benefit.
